As a school we have been successful in securing nearly $50000 through the National Solar Schools Program. During the year an 11kW system will be installed on the roof of our southern wing. The system will take up most of the roof space. While the system is not likely to completely meet our electrical needs it will significantly reduce our reliance on grid power and therefore reduce our carbon footprint while also saving money. We look forward to sharing more information about this project with the community closer to an install date.
